TELS Webletter: backwards and forwards

For 14 years the TELS Webletter has been a place for faculty to share entire courses, videos they have created about teaching and learning, and faculty writing about teaching strategies, successes, and failures. It has been a home for YC Institute presentations, a place to learn about new technologies and opportunities, and it has highlighted the amazing work of the YC faculty. It has been a place to find what faculty are doing and a place to figure out how to do things. But, is that enough?

This session will take a short trip down memory lane and then embark on a voyage into the future. Are you ready to go?

IMPORTANT QUESTIONS TO PONDER

  • How can we share our work in a more meaningful way?
  • What rewards make it worth sharing our work?
  • What are the stumbling blocks?
