Well, November is gone. Here is what happened to Todd.
Early in the month I got the chance to share some stories with wonderful friends at the Reclaim Open conference. We did a couple sessions around the Daily Create. Here is that.
The other “session” was a website. How fun is that to say? There was an hour where the conference attendees read the stuff and commented on it in a chat window on the Reclaim Conference site. Very interesting. We had fun wondering what we were doing.

November was also the second “annual” Creative Pedagogies event. We had people from Glasgow and Bothell and this time, we had participants from Johannesburg as well!
For my part I shared some images of windows with a few others and we are about finished writing something about why and how one might try to keep some community going after a course is finished. We met each week and shared stories about our lives. My favorite course to teach.
I got to meet with Skye, a colleague from Oregon, for the monthly PNWIDs meeting. She is usually the only one who shows up and we share stories. Did I say that is my favorite subject?
I am having fun wondering about the Future of Digital Portfolios with some nice people at Bellevue College.
I took some bike rides and there was a wonderful holiday filled with family. I ran the annual Turkey Trot with the daughters. I think we have done like 10 turkey trots in the last 12 years or so. Nice annual family event

I took a couple nice bike rides. I made art. Below is art I contributed to the CLMooc Calendar. Here is example from last year. I used a photo I took on Orcas Island and the theme was “”grey” as it will be the November image. I like it.

That seems a fitting way to end the month. Beautiful, but a little chilly.
