For 14 years the TELS Webletter has been a place for faculty to share entire courses, videos they have created about teaching and learning, and faculty writing about teaching strategies, successes, and failures. It has been a home for YC Institute presentations, a place to learn about new technologies and opportunities, and it has highlighted the amazing work of the YC faculty. It has been a place to find what faculty are doing and a place to figure out how to do things. But, is that enough?
This session will take a short trip down memory lane and then embark on a voyage into the future. Are you ready to go?
WHERE WE HAVE BEEN
YOU MIGHT REMEMBER
Awesome gift arrived in the mail today. The faculty @YavapaiCollege created this book for first year teachers from 9x9x25 blog posts. Nice work @thatchmo and @yctels pic.twitter.com/mnxaPzovku

CURTIS, TELL ME A STORY ABOUT YOUR TEACHING
IMPORTANT QUESTIONS TO PONDER
- How can we share our work in a more meaningful way?
- What rewards make it worth sharing our work?
- What are the stumbling blocks?
ALMOST LASTLY
TODD MUST HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS RECENTLY
Well, at least a year ago he did because he made this video that explains a lot of the “retrospective” part of this presentation. Those were some great days!
